Update to 0.0.2


Another little over a month and another update and in it most important changes:

New Features and Improvements:

  • Added mouse sensitivity settings
  • New dialogues for Saya and updated existing dialogues
  • Option to disable motion blur
  • Improved "inspect image" visibility in both bright and dark environments
  • UI button size adjustments and settings to avoid covering characters
  • Added 3 extra graphics settings options for optimization
  • Added player control information
  • Updated textures for ground, paths, and grass
  • New water shader
  • Improved shader for Saya
  • Added clear reflections on water and objects
  • All models in the village (except the pickaxe and trees) have been remade from scratch, including textures
  • Added new environment models, types of houses, and other objects
  • Completely new environment and terrain
  • Added ability to take screenshots by pressing F12 (saved in the game folder)
  • Updated UI elements to better support WXGA resolution
  • System that teleports the player back if they somehow clip through the terrain
  • Improved timing during the first encounter with Yuni — dialogue now appears after the animation, not before
  • New inspectable items for the player
  • Option to skip entering a name, with dedicated dialogue for this scenario
  • All in-game options now also available in the main menu

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed all issues related to players leaving the name field empty
  • Fixed NPC duplication
  • Fixed an issue where the volume was too loud during the first half-second — now behaves correctly
  • Players no longer fall endlessly if they clip through textures
  • Fixed strange appearance of grass and other objects when looking at water through them
  • Fixed bug where spamming the starting house door and teleporting to the village caused the player to become immobile

    As always, additional changes in shaders, object settings, ui fixes and other things not worth mentioning

    Tomorrow in a separate post I will write a little more if anyone is interested in more information about the changes on patreon, and why exactly such changes with some additional information, I hope you like the changes and I return immediately to work on the next update

    Additionally in 2 maybe 3 days additional info for supporters on what I'm working on,about new character, what gets done, what doesn't get done,plans for the next update, classic chatter and spam from your developer, because of course update post I do not treat as a weekly news on the progress of the game
