So, here we have the first update as previously announced, and our first month is behind us!
Here’s a summary of the most important changes:

-Yuni Frostlorn – a new monster girl, along with her animations and all the obvious stuff related to her

-New game menu – I can’t draw, but it’s probably better than just a plain background

-Updated game information

-2 additional scenes – one before the village as a base for future story content, and a house for the new girl

-Lighting and atmosphere of Vanya’s house changed to a more evening-like vibe

-Window replacements

-Vanya’s hair style updated

-Option to disable Chromatic Aberration

-Improved animation timing, pacing between dialogues, and scene transitions

-A subtle blink effect to mask transitions between animations and scenes

-Smoother game start transition – no more flashing screens or weirdness right from the menu lol

-Smooth camera transitions instead of just snapping between angles in some situations

-Additional sounds and music

-More dialogue

-New facial expressions and animations for Vanya

-More items for players to inspect, not just in new scenes but in existing ones too

Tons of smaller tweaks and fixes or things I’ve already forgotten about lol

I’ll post more details on Patreon for those who are curious, but not every little detail – who even cares about all that.

As always, there will be a weekly summary (not to overwhelm you with too many updates), where I’ll go over what’s being worked on, talk more in-depth about the state of the game, near-future plans, and more.

It’s not perfect, as usual, and I’m aware of the flaws – I just ran out of time even though I worked until the very last minute. But hey, I’m not going anywhere and things will get better.

Right after this update goes live, I’m jumping right back into work and I’ll keep you posted on progress.
